About The Position
The Engineering Systems Analyst oversees engineering information implementation and management within Epicor, Oracle EBS, and QSS business systems. This role collaborates closely with IT, Customer Service, Materials, Accounting, and Manufacturing departments to ensure accurate execution of operational needs, focusing on new product/process implementations aligned with the organization's growth strategy.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or equivalent experience required.
- 5-7 years of experience with all aspects of computer network administration, integrated manufacturing systems, a strong understanding of the manufacturing environment, and financial business applications
- Excellent knowledge of product offerings across all customer requirements
- Strong understanding of business processes and product requirements to drive improvements
- High functional knowledge of Epicor, Oracle EBS and QSS shop floor interface
Responsibilities
- Support product development by aligning engineering solutions with organizational and operational needs
- Manage part numbers and develop, maintain, and implement bills of materials (BOMs) to ensure accurate production planning and scheduling
- Configure, support, and enhance ERP systems (Epicor, Oracle EBS, QSS), including requirements definition, testing, training, and go-live support
- Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements, partnering with IT and engineering teams to deliver effective system solutions
- Develop reports, queries, and data solutions to support engineering, operations, and business decision-making
- Troubleshoot system issues, communicate status updates, and minimize operational downtime
- Analyze workflows to identify process improvements, automation opportunities, and support business process redesign initiatives
- Evaluate and communicate the business impact of system changes while providing technical specifications for data extracts and analytics
