About The Position
The System Protection Engineer is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the engineering support for transmission system protection system equipment and disturbance monitoring equipment applied at voltages up to and including 500 kV class. Investigates outages, collects data, and assists with system restoration following disturbances and prepares reports as required. Directs the preparation of protection system coordination studies at periodic intervals and following outages.
