About The Position

The beautiful Embassy Suites Orlando Airport is seeking a full-time Engineer Supervisor to join their property operations team! This 174-suite property is located less than 10 minutes from the Orlando International Airport terminal, just short drive from the Orange County Convention Center, USTA, Universal Orlando Resort, SeaWorld Orlando, and the Walt Disney World Resort! As an Engineer Supervisor, you are responsible for supervising and performing the duties of the Property Operations/Engineering staff to maintain the physical functionality of facility including guest rooms, public space and heart-of-the-house areas.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Maintenance of all hotel fixtures and fittings to ensure they are in safe condition and take action when any unsafe situations arise
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment within the hotel
• Develop, implement, and supervise all emergency programs/energy conservation programs for the property
• Coordinate renovation bidding, define the cost and scope of the project, and oversee the general contractor and subcontractors to ensure quality work is performed cost effectively
• Ensure monthly safety inspections take place and employees are trained accordingly
• Perform special projects and other responsibilities as assigned
