Engineer (Software Test)
About The Position
The Engineer, Software Test participates in all phases of Software verification and validation testing by performing informal and formal verification tests and providing support to R&D. Salary Range: $84,000-$88,000 • Final pay determinations will depend on various factors, including, but not limited to experience level, education, knowledge, skills, and abilities. • Our benefits and programs are comprehensive and thoughtfully crafted to ensure our colleagues live healthy lives and have support when it matters most. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated technical writing skills
- Demonstrated communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to understand product requirements
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain test articles and test fixtures.
- Execute test protocols using Test Management Software
- Execute Problem Resolution Procedure in JIRA
- Execute test dry runs of test cases and provide feedback to Team Members
- Review and approve minor test case updates
- Perform ad-hoc testing and provide feedback to R&D
- Participate in daily standups
- Assist with software tool qualifications
- Assist with new test development
- Perform and review verification tracing
- Works with close supervised guidance of senior test staff
