Designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met. This position is intended for the Software Configuration Management and Development (SwCMD) group within the Electric Plant Networks and Software Design section of Department E70/E83 (E50). The incumbent will be mostly responsible for designing, developing, documenting, testing and debugging software applications for internal process improvement applications to support the engineering department. The other part will be to support Ford Class Software development. This position regularly communicates with the whole department and other NNS departments via email, phone, and meetings.

  • Bachelor's Degree and 2 years of relevant exempt experience
