About The Position

Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all. Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever. The Construction Engineering Group and Operations Engineering Group at Micron Technology work together to ensure Instrumentation & Controls are designed, built, and maintained for long-term performance. The Construction Engineering Group supports early project phases, focusing on constructability, compliance, and technical coordination. They review design documents, contribute to system architecture, and assist with RFIs, submittals, and field inspections. Once construction is complete, the Operations Engineering Group takes over, managing system performance through troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement. Their focus is on reliability, safety, and collaboration with maintenance teams to keep systems running efficiently. Micron is hiring an Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to serve as a key link between these two groups. The role begins with a two-year assignment to the Construction Engineering Team, supporting design reviews and construction activities. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in both design collaboration and hands-on operational environments.
