About The Position
Citibank, N.A. seeks an Engineer Senior Analyst for its Irving, TX location. The role involves providing technical and business support for users of internal applications, ensuring quick resolutions to application issues, and driving improvements in stability, efficiency, and effectiveness to help the business succeed. Responsibilities include monitoring logs for failures using tools like Splunk and AppD, scheduling meetings and service improvement plans, troubleshooting incidents and outages, and coordinating the transition from existing Dell Private cloud setup to Open shift containers. This transition aims to enhance support in resolving issues, scalability, flexibility, and reduce complexity. The analyst will drive daily calls with development and production management teams, assess risks in migrations, and represent the team across Citi Retail Services and Cards. The role also includes introducing resiliency engineering concepts and implementing chaos engineering principles to improve software application quality and business demand. The position may allow for a telecommuting/hybrid work schedule within a commutable distance from the worksite.
