About The Position

The position involves applying software knowledge and experience to design, develop, create, modify, and validate embedded and cloud edge software, applications, and/or specialized utility programs. The role requires analyzing user needs and software requirements to design and customize software for optimal operational efficiency. The candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing software modules for products and systems, participating in the design and coding for large features, unit testing, significant debugging fixes, and integration efforts to ensure projects are completed to specifications and schedules. Additionally, the candidate will perform code reviews and regression tests, triage and fix issues to ensure the quality of code, collaborate with others inside the project team to accomplish project objectives, and write technical documentation for software projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of academic or work experience with Programming Languages C, C++, or Java and Python.
• Debugging skills, working experience in S/W bring up and analyzing crash dumps.
• Strong proficiency in using git for software development and integration.
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering or related work experience, OR a Master's Degree in the same fields with 1+ years of experience, OR a PhD in the same fields.

Responsibilities
