About The Position

TSC is seeking a Entry Level Engineer/Scientist, in King George, VA This position supports the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division . Responsibilities: The position will focus leading current and future radar system design and production. The position will support technology developments, technology insertions, prototyping and technology demonstrations in support of a mission critical and highly visible new program.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, computer or electronics engineering. Other acceptable majors include mathematics, computer science or physics.
• 1-3 years of experience in the industry or field. Active-duty service in the Aegis Fleet counts toward this requirement.
• US Citizenship required and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance

Nice To Haves

• The ability to perform detailed complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration

Responsibilities

• Performing complex radar system engineering, design, analysis, or sensor software development.
• Experienced in formulating opinions, decisions and ultimate performance of the engineering tasks associated with the radar/sensor program/project.
• Perform detailed and complex calculations and knowledge of practices/principles necessary to assess advanced radar systems concepts, assess specifications and perform system integration.
