VNE, LLC is looking for a Secret Cleared Engineer Scientist I Responsible for electrical and radio frequency engineering support for new and existing USMC SIGINT systems Development of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) to include 3D CAD models and engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100 Provide electrical/RF engineering support to testing and evaluation as required Design power, RF, and data cables for USMC SIGINT applications Responsible for applying systems analysis, design techniques, and operational procedures to complex electrical systems Provide systems development support for the integration and acquisition of new SIGINT hardware Communicate and coordinate with vendors as necessary regarding commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment Present technical information and communicate engineering design principles with the government customer Coordinate with the larger program team to include but not limited to Project Management, Logistics, Technical Writing, and Configuration Management. This program’s support to the NIWC LANT customer includes: Research and Development, Test and Evaluation, Prototype Fielding Kit Development, Engineering Documentation Development, Software Engineering, Integration, and Training and Sustainment for USMC SIGINT systems. The systems this role will support are the Communication Emitter Sensing and Attacking System II (CESAS II) and Tactical SIGINT Collection System (TSCS).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 1 to 3 years of related engineering experience with a bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with the development of engineering drawings
  • Minimum Secret clearance required with ability to receive a TS/SCI Clearance
  • Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
  • Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
  • Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in C5ISR-related programs supporting a Department of War customer preferred
  • Experience with 3D CAD modeling software, such as SolidWorks, preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Electrical and radio frequency engineering support for new and existing USMC SIGINT systems
  • Development of Technical Data Packages (TDPs) to include 3D CAD models and engineering drawings in accordance with ASME Y14.100
  • Provide electrical/RF engineering support to testing and evaluation as required
  • Design power, RF, and data cables for USMC SIGINT applications
  • Applying systems analysis, design techniques, and operational procedures to complex electrical systems
  • Provide systems development support for the integration and acquisition of new SIGINT hardware
  • Communicate and coordinate with vendors as necessary regarding commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) equipment
  • Present technical information and communicate engineering design principles with the government customer
  • Coordinate with the larger program team to include but not limited to Project Management, Logistics, Technical Writing, and Configuration Management.
  • Communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
  • Attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
