The Sailpoint IIQ Engineer is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of the Sailpoint IIQ application, focusing on developing use cases, testing, debugging, and troubleshooting. This role requires the engineer to be a subject matter expert, providing support and guidance for projects and defect resolutions while staying updated with industry best practices in Identity and Access Management (IAM).

  • Responsible for implementations and enhancements of the SailPoint Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions
  • Developing Java custom code, custom connectors, and interfaces with other enterprise or cloud-based systems like SAP and ServiceNow
  • Communicating technical and functional aspects of the product and implementation to others
  • Developing use cases, testing, debugging, support, and maintenance
  • Preparing technical and user documentation
  • Act as subject matter expert for application discussions
  • 5+ years' experience in an enterprise software company or systems integrator, including 3+ years of enterprise software development and implementation experience
  • 3+ years' experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ
  • Extensive knowledge of security applications, specifically around identity management and account creation/maintenance
  • Working knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ or other Identity Management suites and directories including Active Directory
  • Experience with programming languages: Java and SQL, with high proficiency in Java development
  • Experience with web technologies: XML, SCIM, Web and Application Servers, HTML
  • 3+ years of experience in configuring IAM connectors
  • 3+ years of experience with the configuration and customization of IAM products
  • Experience with enterprise systems such as SAP, SuccessFactors is highly advantageous
  • Experience with API Development including Restful APIs
  • Familiarity with Roles Based Access Control
  • Experience with business requirements, design, and documentation of IAM products
  • Excellent internal/external stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work in agile, changing environments
  • Strong verbal and written skills to develop technical documentation and presentations
  • Experience with configuring workflows including joiner, leaver, mover
  • Experience with configuring user access certification campaigns
  • Experience with configuring segregation of duties policies
  • Experience with the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Expert knowledge of a wide range of technical environments, including cloud, automation, active directory, and networking
  • Understanding of network architecture and design
  • Familiarity with database management and security
