Program Engineers direct implementation of assigned programs and work processes. Major programs include: Steam Generator Reliability, License Renewal, Heat Exchangers, Containment Integrity, Underground Pipe and Tanks, In-Service Inspections, Flow Accelerated Corrosion, and Fatigue Management. Program Engineers will be responsible for maintaining equipment reliability, ensuring regulatory compliance, knowledge and application of industry best practices, budgets, and for the performance or oversight of inspections of plant equipment. Also, Program Engineers typically take key refueling outage assignments. Engineering assignments typically include on-call duty engineer and emergency plan response requirements.
