About The Position

The Engineer-Production role at Dassault Falcon Jet involves managing and improving production processes within the manufacturing environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Aviation Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 1 year of education and 2 years of relevant work experience.
  • Knowledge of engineering practices related to production management.
  • Ability to research, analyze, and recommend efficient production processes.
  • Proficient in reading and communicating technical information from manuals and engineering drawings.
  • Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot problems with detailed action plans.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Project and Point.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in assessing risks induced by new tasks/reworks on aircraft progress and propose risk reduction plans.
  • Participate in daily technical action plans and follow up with assembly team managers regarding task assignments and discrepancies.
  • Conduct daily monitoring of critical issues and report to the Business Unit Manager with recommendations for resolution.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of materials, parts, and documentation to the aircraft or shop.
  • Identify and propose action plans to improve processes or products in terms of cost, schedule, and quality.
  • Support aircraft/component transfers, projects, and new processes.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and define corrective action plans as needed.
  • Utilize support teams to maintain the aircraft/component production process and improve the schedule.
