About The Position

Engineer - Process Control The Engineer will support Pilgrims ’ maintenance , environmental, and sanitation operations with CMMS training , data collection, and data visualization development . They will assist in monitoring current processes and provide continu ed support to plant teams. They will be a vital part of improving our current programs by identifying gaps, developing action plans and facilitating implementation . There is one (1) position open and will be locat ed at one of these Pilgrim’s following locations – Gainesville, GA, Ennis, TX, Mayfield, KY, Live Oak, FL, Waco, TX OR Chattanooga, TN. Not a remote position! Location will be determined upon selection.

Requirements

  • Up to 75% travel
  • Experience in maintenance planning and control strongly preferred
  • Good work ethic (ability to maintain efficiency with minimal direct oversight)
  • Excellent organizational, math and statistical skills
  • Understand and comply with Company policy and procedures
  • Ability to handle conflict; superior interpersonal skills
  • Experience or ability to learn Microsoft Office , Microsoft Teams, SAP PM Module , MS SQL , Qlik Sense , Ignition SCADA, and PLC programming.
  • Strong analytical skills & problem solving
  • Experience in facilitating RCA training and implementation
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or relevant experience require d

Responsibilities

  • Help l ead the safety culture and company values for the Pilgrims facilities .
  • Help ensure compliance of all company policies and all federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Must be able to demonstrate effective people skills.
  • Train management on creat ion of budgets, forecast s, and track ing metrics .
  • Facilitate execution of Maintenance Pillar assessments .
  • Develop and implement plans to ensure that plants are meeting initiatives.
  • Implement improvements to processes, inventory control and reduction, data collection , and data visualization tools .
  • Work individually and collaboratively to achieve goals for PC&R (Process Control and Reliability) team .
  • Prepare and submit reports to maintain or improve efficiency and effectiveness of plant teams.
  • Participate in the dev elop ment and execution of plans to move maintenance and environmental teams from reactive, to preventative, and on to predictive methods .
  • Develop, train, and improve RCA documentation, processes, data analysis, compliance levels, and quality of information.
  • Other duties as required by management and supervision
