The Supplier Quality Engineering position will leverage your abilities to improve the quality and delivery of supplied products. You will resolve quality and delivery issues, manage supplier corrective actions, and assure compliance of program quality requirements through surveillance and assessments activities with little to no supervision. You will need to be a self-starter with a complete understanding of the supplier quality function, be willing and able to train others, and have a passion to learn and improve supplier systems and products. This is a very visible position to the organization playing an important role at BAE Systems Space and Mission Systems supporting the Aerospace and Defense industry. In this position, you are the resource responsible for the technical supplier performance relationship at the front end of the Integrated Supply Chain – where production material is sourced, where it enters the product realization process, and upon where the company relies to ensure compliant parts are delivered on time. You will be a part of the supply chain risk management process that enables our competitive edge and reduces the risk to programs and our customers. The Operations Strategic Capabilities Unit plays a fundamental role in enabling efficient business and program execution – from strategic capital investments, industrial operations and an efficient supply chain, to state-of-the-art manufacturing and test operations and top-notch facilities management.
