Job Description: Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Sector is seeking a Systems Engineer 2 to join our team as an algorithm developer in Huntsville, AL. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Global Mission Command and Control Department. This position may place candidates on various teams within programs such as IBCS. The position responsibilities include development, prototyping, analysis, and implementation of target tracking, target discrimination, and battle management algorithms; implementing algorithms in a prototype environment; performing comparative data analysis to assess algorithm performance; and review of the content and details of technical products. The qualified applicant designs, develops, integrates, documents, tests and debugs prototype software that contains logical and mathematical solutions to the identified problem space.
