The Vocational segment includes market leading brands McNeilus, Oshkosh S-Series, IMT, Pierce, MAXIMETAL, Oshkosh Airport Products, and Frontline Communications. Our purpose-built products serve our communities with carefully designed and engineered refuse trucks, front-discharge mixer trucks, fire apparatus, Airport Rescue and Fire Fighting trucks, service vehicles, and command trucks. Our products are designed to perform under the toughest conditions. SUMMARY Coordinate building and equipment improvement projects set forth by the Facilities Department. Manage individual project assignments from start to finish including original project budgets and concept drawings as well as monitoring project cost, communication flow, scheduling, and coordinating all activities to achieve the desired quality and engineering standards. Works closely with the Oshkosh Vocational Tennessee Facilities Manager to accomplish the objectives of the department and to monitor all facility activities to ensure adherence to accepted engineering standards and regulations, which will be in the best interest of the company. Communicates directly with all areas of the company including: Production and Office Management, Maintenance, Safety and Environmental, and Manufacturing Engineering, providing the appropriate level and engineering support to assigned projects.
