About The Position

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Software Engineer with deep expertise in Performance Engineering and Observability to join our global engineering team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, cross-functional environment and is excited to work with teams distributed across multiple time zones. You will play a key role in ensuring our systems are scalable, performant, and observable, enabling rapid development and reliable delivery of high-quality software.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in software engineering with a focus on performance and observability.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one performance testing tool (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner, CloudTest, Azure Load Testing).
  • Hands-on experience with at least one observability platform (e.g., New Relic, OTel, Catchpoint, Grafana).
  • Experience working in cloud-native environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in scaling microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
  • Experience collaborating with cross functional teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cross-browser testing tools like LambdaTest.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
  • Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible).
  • Familiarity with serverless platform, containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes,).
  • Interest in AI-driven performance optimization.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing in real time monitoring for frontend and backend performance analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Design and execute performance testing strategies using tools such as JMeter, Gatling, CloudTest, Postman, Selenium or similar.
  • Build and maintain observability frameworks using tools like New Relic, OTel, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  • Collaborate with globally dispersed teams including developers, QA, DevOps, and product managers to identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
  • Integrate observability and performance metrics into CI/CD pipelines for proactive monitoring and alerting.
  • Conduct and document root cause analysis of performance issues and recommend optimizations in Cloud and on-prem environments.
  • Support cross-browser and cross-platform testing using tools like LambdaTest.
  • Advocate for performance and observability best practices across engineering teams.
  • Document performance benchmarks, test plans, and observability dashboards.
  • Partner with vendors and SaaS/PaaS providers to enhance enterprise-wide observability and performance engineering capabilities, ensuring scalable and resilient system monitoring.
