About The Position
The Metropolitan Council is the regional government for the seven-county Twin Cities metropolitan area, committed to supporting a diverse workforce that reflects the communities it serves. The Metropolitan Council Environmental Services (MCES) division has one vacancy for either an Engineer or Associate Engineer-Wastewater Process Engineer, depending on qualifications. MCES operates and maintains the wastewater collection and treatment system in the Twin Cities metropolitan region, providing coordinated long-range water resources and supply planning, and air and water quality monitoring. The Engineer or Associate Engineer applies academic engineering knowledge with practical experience in monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting processes and technical systems operated by MCES.
