Micron Idaho Semiconductor Manufacturing (Triton) LLC Develop, analyze and implement metrology measurement techniques in films with a primary focus on lithography overlay, CD-SEM. Perform SWR (Special Work Request) lots to assist Engineers to complete the evaluations for set-up metrology of recipe of newly introduced processes, new process equipment, for process improvement, optimization or characterization. Drive supplier tool CIP activity, assisting in NPI (New Product Introduction) transfer activity, defining quality metrics, achieving metrology performance, and providing weekly summary updates. Engage in the Fab operation and performing tasks to improve quality, reduce cost, reduce cycle time, and improve yield. Perform detailed analysis of next generation measurement capabilities as well as coordinating evolutionary programs. Deliver reliable and value-adding metrology applications to reinforce Micron's technical advancement. Standardize BKM, knowledge and way of working to keep the growth of metrology team. Early engage with TD and MCT for innovative tech introduction. Identify, diagnose and resolve assembly process related problems. Coordinate and execute process, equipment and material evaluation / optimization initiatives and implement changes at process step. Lead / participate in continuous yield improvement and cost reduction activities. Validate and fan out new process baseline qualified, including new process, tools and/or materials for new product introduction. Audit material suppliers to achieve quality, cost and risk management objectives and support internal and external audits.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.
  • 2 years of experience in the job offered or in an Engineer, Metrology-related occupation.
  • Experience in metrology or semiconductor manufacturing techniques and equipment.
  • Knowledge of semiconductor process flow.
  • Experience in data science and data manipulation (scripting, coding, or programming).
  • Experience developing recipes and applications to quantify semiconductor processing.
  • Experience developing statistical process control methods.
  • Familiarity with KLA archer image based overlay metrology system.
  • Familiarity with KLA SpectraShape thin film and optical CD metrology.
  • Familiarity with ASML Yieldstar DBA overlay.
  • Familiarity with ONTO Atlas thin film and optical CD metrology.
  • Familiarity with Applied Materials Verity CDSEM.
  • Familiarity with Hitachi GT2K CDSEM.
