This role is part of Advanced Concepts and Enterprise Engineering (ACE), supporting Blue Origin’s mission of millions of people living and working in space for the benefit of Earth. The team fosters innovation and drives engineering workflows of the future, shared solutions and standards, simplicity and lower costs, and manufacturable design. As part of a hardworking team of specialists, technicians, and engineers you will design and deliver production tooling, handling solutions, and test equipment that make building and verifying solar products safe, clean, and reliable. You will pair sound mechanical analysis with practical commissioning to create robust, instrumented, semi‑automated stations, and document their safe operation, calibration, and upkeep. You will embed quality and operator safety into every design, collaborate closely with Manufacturing and Automation to define process windows and in‑process checks, manage suppliers from concept through acceptance, and support test campaigns and continuous improvement in a fast-moving, cross-disciplinary, geographically distributed R&D environment.
