As a Cables Manufacturing Engineer /Level 2 or Level 3, on our Cables Team located in Chandler, AZ you will be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This is a fully on-site position; hybrid or remote work is not available. Relocation is not offered. Our Cables Manufacturing Engineers : Design manufacturing processes, procedures and production layouts for assemblies, equipment installation, processing, machining and material handling. Design arrangement of machines within plant facilities to ensure most efficient and productive layout. Design sequence of operations and specifies procedures for the fabrication of tools and equipment and other functions that affect product performance. Adapt machine or equipment design to factory and production conditions. May incorporate inspection and test requirements into the production plan. Inspects performance of machinery, equipment, and tools to verify their efficiency, and investigates and initiates corrective action of problems and deficiencies to ensure product quality. Develop manufacturing processes that are applicable to statistical process control, and may develop those techniques. Provide guidance to engineering regarding design concepts and specification requirements to best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques. Ensure processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations. In this job, you will: Creating cable MES build plans using templates and desktop procedures Creating in-process change records on cable builds Troubleshoot and work Cause/ Corrective Actions Create design change cable build plans Up rev MES plans when new cable drawing releases Work process improvements

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of professional experience - OR - Master's degree with 1 year of professional experience.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance, which generally requires US Citizenship as a prerequisite
  • Familiarity with Root Cause and Corrective Action
  • Must have excellent communication skills and ability to work within a team environment.
  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of related experience - OR - Master's degree with 3 years of experience.
  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance, which generally requires US Citizenship as a prerequisite
