About The Position

Engineer Lead Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 4361 Irwin Simpson Road, Mason, OH 45040 This role requires associates to be in-office 3-4 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The Engineer Lead is responsible for full delivery of end-to-end system development and maintenance on medium Enterprise-wide technology platforms

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field of study.
  • Seven (7) years of experience in any occupation with Information Technology (IT) experience, or related.
  • AWS Services for Big Data such as: AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, EMR/Hive.
  • Multi database, Warehouse technology such as: Postgres, Aurora, Redshift, or Snowflake.
  • Cloud Engineering & DevOps such as: CICD pipeline, Bamboo, Jenkins, BitBucket, SonarQube.
  • Multi Language skills such as: Spark, PySpark, Scala, Python
  • Streaming technologies such as: Kafka, or Kinesis.
  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering (any), or related field of study and five (5) years of experience.
  • Must have skills listed above.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, design, and implement Data pipelines, Data warehouse solutions utilizing AWS and Big Data technologies with focus on Data Quality.
  • Build frameworks for Big Data pipelines and for Data Quality with high scalability, performance, and system availability.
  • Implement improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems.
  • Perform technical design reviews and code reviews.
  • Ensure unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and system is implemented according to plan.
  • Deliver application technology solutions and data information planning effort.
  • Coordinate and manages on-call support and own the system monitoring process.
  • Own the technical development environment and work on the Enterprise team.
  • Lead multiple or large projects and facilitate large group JAD sessions for requirements, modeling in several disciplines.
