About The Position

Engineer Lead

Location: Ideal candidates will be able to report to our Pulse Point location at 2505 N Hwy 360, Suite 300, Grand Prairie, TX 75050. This role requires associates to be in-office 1 - 2 days per week, fostering collaboration and connectivity, while providing flexibility to support productivity and work-life balance. This approach combines structured office engagement with the autonomy of virtual work, promoting a dynamic and adaptable workplace. The Engineer Lead is responsible for full delivery of end-to-end system development and maintenance on medium enterprise-wide technology platforms.

How You Will Make an Impact:
M Maintains active relationships with customers to determine business requirements and leads requirements gathering meetings. L Leads requirements gathering meetings and reviews designs with the business. L Leads efforts with Web and marketing team to increase the presence of web products. M May implement improvements in stability, performance, and scalability across major business-critical systems. M May implement process to reduce barriers and roadblocks in projects, services, and processes in order to operate more efficiently. O Owns the change request process and coordinates with other teams as necessary. D Develops and owns list of final enhancements. D Develops and defines application scope and objectives and supervises the preparation of technical and/or functional specifications from with programs will be written. P Performs technical design reviews and code reviews. E Ensures unit test is completed and meets the test plan requirements, system testing is completed, and system is implemented according to plan. R Responsible for delivery of application technology solutions and data information planning effort. C Coordinates and manages on-call support and owns the system monitoring process. O Owns the technical development environment and works on the Enterprise team. L Leads multiple or large projects and facilitates large-group JAD sessions for requirements and modeling in several disciplines. L Leads vendor evaluation and analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related.
• Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s).
• Five (5) years of experience in related occupation(s) must include: Multi-dimensional platform experience; Experience with business and technical applications; Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and Packer; Automation and Scripting: Python, Node.js, PowerShell, Groovy, and Shell for infrastructure and operations automation; DevOps and CI/CD: Jenkins, GitLab, and DevOps pipeline optimization; Networking and Security: VPCs, VNets, WAFs (Akamai), load balancers, and security tools such as Wiz, GuardDuty, and Checkmarx; Monitoring and FinOps: Elastic, DataDog, cloud cost management, and DR/BCP automation; and Cloud Platforms: AWS and Azure, EKS, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, FSx, Lustre, AKS, Key Vault, and Azure NetApp Files.
