About The Position

Integrity Communications Solutions is seeking a motivated Engineer IV-Network & Systems Engineer with a strong background in Agile methodologies to design, implement, and maintain mission-critical systems and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with networking, systems engineering, and a solid understanding of Agile practices, with the ability to deliver innovative solutions in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field with 5+ years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
  • Strong background in LAN/WAN design, routing, and switching technologies.
  • Hands-on experience configuring and managing network security tools (e.g., firewalls, IDS/IPS).
  • Proficiency in network troubleshooting and performance optimization.
  • Experience with Agile practices, including Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
  • Familiarity with systems engineering concepts and best practices.
  • Active Secret clearance required at time of hire. Must be able to obtain Top Secret clearance if needed.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • U.S. Citizenship required due to federal contracting requirements.

  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Plan, design, and implement computer networks (LAN/WAN) and integrated systems that support both operational and developmental needs.
  • Work within Agile teams, participate in Scrum ceremonies, and use Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality solutions on time.
  • Actively engage with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of system architecture and design with mission objectives.
  • Configure, manage, and optimize network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
  • Implement and manage security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption protocols to safeguard critical systems and data.
  • Diagnose complex network/system issues, perform preventive maintenance, and resolve connectivity or performance issues promptly.
  • Partner with IT, cybersecurity, and engineering teams to align network and system solutions with organizational requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and industry trends.
