About The Position

This position will play a critical role in supporting high-impact research initiatives. This individual will lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers and scientists in the research and development of automated cell analysis consumables and analyzers. The role involves close collaboration with both internal departments and external partners to drive innovation and achieve research objectives.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Engineering, Physics, or a closely related field is preferred.
• Minimum five years of relevant industry experience.
• Proven experience integrating complex, automated life sciences or clinical systems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in in vitro diagnostics, including development, testing, or system integration.
• Supervisory/management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team in the design and execution of experiments to support research goals towards the development of a new type of cell analyzers.
• Make and guide key technical decisions throughout the course of research and development activities.
• Perform hands-on laboratory work as part of active experimental programs.
• Coordinate closely with internal teams and external collaborators to align project milestones and deliverables.
• Prepare and present project status updates and technical reports to stakeholders.
• Establish and monitor direct report performance and development goals, assigns accountabilities, sets objectives, establishes priorities, and provides continuous feedback and recognition on performance.
