About The Position

The IT Network Engineer provides 24/7 support for the enterprise networking infrastructure, including Cisco switches, routers, and firewalls. Establish and maintain IT and digital communication infrastructure, including wireless or LAN networks. Monitors network performance to ensure system availability and reliability. Installation, configuration, and administration of various devices and services, including routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPN, and WiFi. Possesses basic knowledge of a Microsoft enterprise environment (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Exchange, Windows servers, SQL servers, IIS, and other Microsoft products), networking, IT security, storage, VMware, data center technologies, and enterprise-level applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or related field plus a valid CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) or CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) or HS Diploma or GED with five (5) years of experience in networking with CCNA or CCNP.
• Experience with Cisco networking technologies and troubleshooting methodologies.
• Must be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the Network OSI model and an understanding of the IPv4 networking protocol.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that each guest receives outstanding service by creating a friendly environment and following Jackson Rancheria Guest Service Guidelines
• Provide 24/7 technical support and administration of the enterprise environment including Cisco (LAN, WAN, WLAN) Networking, Cisco Security, and data center technology.
• Provide 24/7 on-call phone support when assigned.
• Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks.
• Install, configure, and support network equipment including routers, switches, and other required network infrastructure servers and devices (DNS, DHCP, AAA, Policy-based Access Control, Cisco ISE, etc).
• Procure network equipment and manage subcontractors involved with network installation.
• Configure firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security.
• Maximize network performance through ongoing monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Arrange and/or perform scheduled upgrades.
• Investigate faults in the network.
• Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases.
• Install, maintain, and optimize the wireless network.
• Coordinate and manage projects related to networking hardware installation and upgrades.
• IP address management.

Benefits

• Pay range: $90,000 to $117,000 per year
• Shift Differential: Non-Exempt employees will receive a $1.00 per hour shift differential for any hours worked between 10:00pm and 6:00am.
