Step into Your New Role Kleinfelder is seeking a growth-oriented Engineer-In-Training with strong technical, organizational, and communication skills to complement our Public Works team. The opportunity to help grow your career and advance in the company is tremendous. As an EIT, you will work closely with all Public Works Water Resources Department members and coordinate with clients, sub-consultants, and other Kleinfelder staff. Existing clients include TWDB, TXGLO, TxDOT, and counties and municipalities across Texas. You will be responsible for the successful coordination and completion of planning, analysis, and design project tasks using software such as ArcGIS, AutoCAD, MicroStation, HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, StormCAD, InfoWorks ICM, etc. Project types include: Drainage, stormwater, water supply, and wastewater system design, Water quality & LID planning and design Streambank stabilization, fluvial geomorphology, and sediment transport analyses, Coastal and watershed-scale master planning, FEMA LOMR, CLOMR, PMR coordination, Hydrologic and hydraulic analyses (including unsteady-state and 2D), Dam analysis and design, and Development review/floodplain management for government agencies.
