About The Position
Stanley Consultants is seeking an entry-level Engineer-In-Training in the Water Resources sector, located in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This position is ideal for recent graduates or those with up to four years of experience who are eager to contribute to essential water and wastewater infrastructure projects. As a member of the Water Market team, the successful candidate will engage in various engineering tasks, including data collection and analysis, design calculations, and the use of computer models to simulate real-world conditions. The role involves preparing designs for treatment processes, piping, and pumping facilities, as well as conducting hydrologic and hydraulic modeling. The Engineer-In-Training will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers, to support project managers in producing comprehensive plans and specifications. Under the guidance of senior engineers, the candidate will also assist in developing asset management plans and utility master plans, and may support construction phase services, including reviewing shop drawings and participating in progress meetings. Candidates should possess a foundational knowledge of water resources and treatment processes, and familiarity with data analytics and modeling is highly desirable.
