We want someone passionate about Marine Engineering and problem-solving. Our Marine/Waterfront division is looking to recent graduates with a master’s degree in civil, Structural, Coastal, or Ocean Engineering in our Portland, ME office. What You'll Be Doing: The Marine/Waterfront Division provides consulting services to inspect, evaluate, analyze, and design various marine and waterfront structures, facilities, and infrastructure. You will contribute to multidisciplinary teams of structural, geotechnical, mechanical, fire, and civil engineers working with SGH. Essential duties include performing a wide range of structural engineering analysis and design tasks; assisting senior staff in on-site investigations to document existing conditions and determine the root of problems; managing the preparation of drawings and specifications; and aiding senior staff during the construction administration phase of projects. A strong technical education, professional demeanor, and desire to learn is essential to this position. What You'll Need:
