About The Position

The Engineer III develops extensive knowledge and skills in a specific practice area. This role involves evaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks or sequences of tasks for conventional projects with minimal complexity. The position requires using judgment to adapt methods for non-routine aspects of assignments and working on small projects or portions of larger projects.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with electronic communication, including email and text, and standard office applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Basic oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact effectively with other staff members.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET/EAC accredited program.
  • 3+ years of prior experience required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience producing drawings with CAD software.
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform moderate design tasks or lead review tasks
  • Prepare portions of project documents or provide markups for reviewed documents
  • Edit or review specifications
  • Conduct research and investigations
  • Work independently on tasks and use discretion to address concerns before contacting the client
  • Other duties as assigned or required to meet business needs
