About The Position

Engineer III (Senior Engineer) WHO WE ARE: STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start-ups. STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs. STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem. The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government. We are seeking a skilled and experienced Engineer III (Senior Engineer) to join our team! The Engineer III (Senior Engineer) provides senior-level technical leadership and subject matter expertise in support of Energetic Systems Engineering, Process Engineering, and/or Test & Evaluation Engineering task and support programs. This role supports mission-critical activities in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), including responsibilities outlined in Section 3.4, and contributes to the successful execution of complex engineering initiatives. Key Responsibilities The Engineer III (Senior Engineer) provides senior-level technical leadership and subject matter expertise in support of Energetic Systems Engineering, Process Engineering, and/or Test & Evaluation Engineering task and support programs. This role supports mission-critical activities in accordance with the Statement of Work (SOW), including responsibilities outlined in Section 3.4, and contributes to the successful execution of complex engineering initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 20 years of related engineering experience supporting Energetic Systems Engineering, Process Engineering, and/or Test & Evaluation programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering, scientific, or technical discipline
  • Master’s degree in Engineering (required)
  • Active SECRET security clearance (required)
  • Strong technical writing, analytical, and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Provide senior engineering expertise across Energetic Systems, Process Engineering, and/or Test & Evaluation programs
  • Execute and support tasks in accordance with SOW Section 3.4 requirements
  • Lead technical planning, analysis, design, and problem-solving for complex engineering challenges
  • Review and develop technical documentation, reports, plans, and deliverables
  • Provide technical guidance to junior engineers and cross-functional teams
  • Collaborate with government stakeholders, program managers, and technical personnel
  • Ensure engineering activities meet quality, safety, and performance standards
