About The Position

Universal Orlando Resort is seeking an Engineer III, Mechanical, with a focus on structural and construction experience. This role is essential in maintaining the resort's mechanical and structural systems, ensuring that all attractions are safe and operational for guests. The position involves managing complex redesign and development efforts for theme park rides and attractions, aimed at enhancing reliability and operational efficiency. The engineer will be responsible for supporting downtime recovery, troubleshooting, fault analysis, and the integration of Ride and Show systems. The work environment emphasizes in-person collaboration, with many team members working in a hybrid capacity, contributing from the workplace at least three days a week.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on structural systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault analysis skills.
• Experience with theme park rides and attractions is preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in construction management or structural engineering.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in amusement parks.
• Project management experience.
