The position involves making electrical repairs, including the repair and placement of outlets, light fixtures, and equipment. You will also be responsible for fixing all property electronic equipment (except for slot machines and computers) by repairing damage to parts and wiring and replacing failed components. Additionally, you will respond to electrical outages, perform electrical-related tasks, and assist management in daily electrical power management programs to achieve profitability, guest satisfaction, workforce strength, and compliance goals.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED; Associate’s/Technical degree preferred.
  • 5 or more years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to perform basic math skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and technical procedures.
  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests and regulatory agencies.
  • Ability to identify problems and solve practical problems.
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge; MS Office.

Responsibilities

  • Make electrical repairs, including repair and placement of outlets, light fixtures, and equipment.
  • Fix all property electronic equipment (except for slot machines and computers) by repairing damage to parts and wiring and replacing failed components.
  • Respond to electrical outages and perform electrical-related tasks.
  • Assist management in daily electrical power management programs.
  • Set up and maintain an inventory of electrical parts.
  • Ensure all electrical panels are locked and electrical closets are clean.
  • Check panels regularly to ensure each has a legend for active breakers.
  • Assist with testing of electrical equipment performed by outside vendors.
  • Perform daily rounds and create a checklist for monitoring electrical systems.
  • Perform electrical repairs, modifications, and assist with planning electrical needs.
  • Assist electrical technicians and monitor performance.
  • Monitor electrical system repairs and enforce safety procedures.
  • Inform management of unsafe conditions and take precautionary measures.
  • Assist management in setting up a preventive maintenance program.
  • Assist in restarting electrical powered systems after shutdowns.
  • Adhere to departmental quality standards and safety practices.
  • Review assigned work orders and determine work priorities.
  • Install machines, tools, and equipment to ensure continuous operations.
  • Inspect, repair, install, modify, and maintain electrical/electronic systems.
  • Inspect kitchen machines and equipment for operational standards.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality in all departmental and company matters.
