Engineer II, Systems is responsible for managing and optimizing the organization's IT infrastructure. This role involves configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting servers, networks, and storage systems to ensure high availability and performance. The engineers conduct regular system audits to identify potential issues and implements proactive measures to mitigate risks. Additionally, they are tasked with automating routine tasks through scripting and other tools to enhance operational efficiency. Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential for successful project deployments, requiring the specialist to provide technical support during the implementation of new technologies.

Requirements

Customarily has at least 5 years of experience in systems engineering of Microsoft Windows Server OS.
Hands-on experience managing Active Directory including, implementing group policies, managing sites and services, managing DNS records. Experience with AD FS is a plus.
Experience in administering Linux OS.
Strong experience in administering Microsoft 365 tenants. That includes advanced experience managing in Entra ID, Exchange, Intune, Teams, Microsoft 365 Apps.
Hands-on experience in managing Hybrid Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange environments.
Experience in administering Citrix DaaS. That includes administering Citrix environment, creating machine catalogs and delivery groups, building vDisks, deploying and managing Storefront servers.
Experience in writing scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash or other scripting languages.
Experience in operating and managing monitoring tools, like Dynatrace, PRTG, SolarWinds or others.
