This role is essential in ensuring that manufacturing processes operate flawlessly and consistently deliver high-quality products that support Thermo Fisher Scientific’s mission to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Engineering or a related field is required.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering
  • Demonstrated ability in process improvement and equipment validation
  • Familiarity with capital investment projects
  • CAD Design
  • PLC/HMI Programming
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in constructing and manufacturing tools and equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • The job involves working in manufacturing, standing, lifting 25 pounds, and wearing safety gear.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct data analysis and identify trends to support process improvement
  • Validate and update equipment processes, ensuring efficient performance
  • Devise and fabricate tools and equipment to boost production efficiency
  • Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly
  • Provide technical support to the production team to troubleshoot problems and improve manufacturing performance.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of processes, procedures, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Devise and implement capital investment schemes.
