Hotel Maintenance Engineer Shift: Day Sunday-Thursday 7:00am-3:00pm Located in Verdi NV, we are a personable, loyal, and friendly company that shares a connection with each of our guests and team members. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 3years experience in general maintenance, handyman services, or a related trade.
  • Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, pumps, etc.
  • Previous hotel or hospitality maintenance experience.
  • Familiarity with basic preventive maintenance schedules and checklists.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Stand or walk for extended periods and climb stair or ladders.
  • Must possess current CPO license.
  • Must possess a current, valid driver’s license.

Nice To Haves

  • OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform intermediate-level troubleshooting, repairs, and adjustments on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Maintain pools and hot tubs within NNPH regulations and property needs.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance on pumps, motors, fans, compressors, controls, and other building systems.
  • Visually inspect and test vehicle operations as laid out in checklists and report findings.
  • Replace belts, bearings, filters, seals, valves, and other components as needed.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance in and around the hotel , bathrooms, restaurants, and public areas, equipment, pools, etc.
  • Adjust or replace hardware such as door handles, latches, hinges, drawer slides, etc.
  • Inspect and maintain tile, flooring, and wall finishes to preserve property standards.
  • Respond to work orders in a timely and professional manner, prioritizing guest-related issues.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas and tools.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and regulations.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, housekeeping, and other departments as needed. Document all work performed using maintenance forms.
  • Must perform any other property related duties as directed that may not be listed
