About The Position

The Role Entegris is currently seeking a Engineer II, Chemical Engineer to join our New Product Engineering team. This position will be based in our Burnet, TX facility. In this role, you will partner with R&D and the Business Unit to develop new material manufacturing processes and equipment to meet the needs of the high purity semiconductor industry. You will be a key player on the dynamic New Product Development (NPD) team to oversee multiple projects driving profitable growth in the company’s Advanced Deposition Materials group. What You’ll Do Develop LVM and HVM purification processes based on key stakeholder design criteria. Scale-up of R&D equipment and processes to high-volume manufacturing, aligning with quality, throughput, and cost targets Drive process optimization initiatives to enhance efficiency, improve chemical yields, and reduce cycle time for new processes Perform process Validation and Qualification (V&Q) through the development, execution, and documentation of validation steps, to meet internal and external customer requirements Proactively take a hands-on approach in achieving project scope and timelines, including actively supporting team members in the completion of key deliverables Analyze root causes of process variability, deviations, and lead corrective action efforts Utilize data analytics and statistical tools to monitor key performance indicators and identify trends Develop and update manufacturing documentation, such as: Design and Process FMEAs (D/PFMEAs), Control Plans, IPO Diagrams, Work Instructions, and On-the-Job Training (OJT) materials What We Seek Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering or similar technical field or related experience is required. A Master’s degree is a plus. Demonstrated experience (2+ years) of increasing responsibilities within a global, multicultural, multi-location organization serving a high technology industry. Proficient with distillation processes and critical control parameters. Experience with statistics and statistical software Familiar with SAP Enterprise software.
