Key Responsibilities: Maintain professionalism when working independently and within a team environment Support Lean 5S initiatives to achieve a workplace that is clean, uncluttered, safe, and well organized to help reduce waste and optimize productivity Attend and contribute to discourse during team meetings and leverage senior team members for knowledge and direction when needed Develop new manufacturing processes with oversight Verify manufacturing processes using inspection techniques, data collection, measurement, as directed Read and interpret manufacturing drawings and requirements Design and develop manufacturing process equipment such as work holding fixtures, test methods, data collection systems, or other as directed Work on tasks individually or as part of a team Manage time efficiently to accomplish assigned tasks on time Assist in process capability studies, efficiency studies, or other engineering tasks, as assigned Assist in process improvement efforts Participate in FMEA, PFMEA, Design Review, and other Engineering activities/functions Assist in Engineering Sustainment activities to support ongoing Manufacturing operations – to include but not limited to: restoring manufacturing processes to operation following failures, participating in process improvement efforts, providing training to others, updating process documentation Basic knowledge of, or the ability to learn CAD/CAM software, GD&T and fabrication Author documentation for new and existing manufacturing processes Participate in NPI (New Product Introduction) activities as necessary and as directed Uphold Valor standards and specifications Must meet Valor attendance requirements Other duties as assigned Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package, including salary, paid time off, health insurance, retirement plans, and professional development opportunities.
