About The Position

Weston & Sampson is hiring an Engineer with our Water Discipline with 0 to 4 years of experience in our Reading, MA office locations. The candidate will have experience in evaluation, design, and construction of public infrastructure in the northeastern United States.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering with wastewater process and treatment emphasis.
• Strong AutoCAD Civil 3D drafting and design skills.
• Proficiency in use of Microsoft excel for data analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Nice To Haves

• EIT Certification is a plus.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Experience in the Engineering Consulting industry is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
• A positive attitude and willingness to continue learning as new tasks are assigned and new projects are undertaken.

Responsibilities

• Assist project managers with the preparation of engineering studies, design plans and specifications.
• Visit job sites to perform project tasks including, field tests, data gathering, field inspections, surveying and construction observation.
• Office work may include engineering design, data review and tabulation, data management and analysis, and preparation of technical reports.
• Expected to work on a variety of civil engineering projects at any given time as workload requires, but an emphasis will be placed primarily on water related projects.
• Willing to travel as required.
