Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) field.
  • Minimum 3.0 Cumulative GPA.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering.
  • Internship experience with Pratt & Whitney, RTX, or within the aerospace industry.
  • Experience collaborating with a team to develop innovative ideas.
  • Experience communicating clear and effective messages to a broad audience.
  • Experience with MS Office products, Teamcenter, Unigraphics NX, ANSYS, and classical methods of analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Develop propulsion technologies for advanced aircraft.
  • Work on compression systems hardware.
  • Process engineering changes to improve production configuration.
  • Deliver development hardware to test engines.
  • Facilitate the delivery of hardware to production engines.
  • Support fielded engines or new product design.
  • Interface with other disciplines of the Integrated Product Team (IPT).
  • Resolve mechanical engineering problems of difficult and complex scope.
  • Execute FEM codes for creating and solving FEM models.
  • Generate development hardware design solutions.
  • Work with Operations to address production issues.
  • Utilize standard work and CORE tools to improve structures analysis process.
