About The Position

The Quality Engineer I will be responsible for providing quality assurance and quality control support to manufacturing operations, which includes monitoring of manufacturing, inspection and test processes and implementation of quality initiatives. Essential duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Support the Configuration Management team in the review, control, and release of documentation. Assist the Quality Engineering team in developing, implementing, and maintaining the Quality Management System (QMS). Participate as a member of the internal audit team to ensure compliance with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards, and evaluate the effectiveness of the QMS. Drive continuous improvement efforts by conducting process audits and collecting, analyzing, and reporting KPI metrics. Promote a culture of continuous improvement and organizational learning through training and effective communication of quality and reliability initiatives across all functional areas.

Requirements

  • US Person (due to ITAR requirements)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
  • 0–2.5 years of relevant professional experience; internship or co-op experience preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
