This position is for a Product Engineer I with the MCU New Product Development group in Chandler. The person will be trained to drive the Product Engineering aspects of new microcontroller development from development phase to releasing the product to manufacturing, and continues to work with the Test Engineers and Manufacturing Engineers to improve yields and production capacity. Work with Architecture, Design, Test, Planning, Applications, Development Tools, Manufacturing, and Marketing groups throughout the product development cycle. Drive the new product manufacturing reviews, drive and create reports of new silicon validation, characterization, qualification, and release to production. Actively participate in silicon validations, new module debug, and bench characterizations. On occasion, working closely with the Fab Engineers and Yield Enhancement groups are required. Monitor and analyze yields on new products. Help identify new product manufacturing issues. Drive continuous improvements in product quality and cost.
