About The Position

Cadrex is searching for a Manufacturing Engineer I to develop and implements optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes and methods in accordance with product specifications and quality standards; recommends and implements improvements to production processes, methods, and controls; coordinates manufacturing launch for new or revised products.

Responsibilities

• Develop manufacturing processes by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing manufacturing methods and equipment; conferring with equipment vendors
• Evaluate existing manufacturing processes and workflows to identify potential areas of improvement
• Carry out process improvement, problem resolution, and project management
• Improve manufacturing processes and methods for cost-reduction, quality improvement and efficiency
• Prepare and present plans for the above and coordinate deployment including training of team members
• Perform research, design and development of manufacturing processes including production flow, assembly methods and production equipment
• Prepare and maintain detailed layouts of buildings and equipment
• Coordinate the manufacturing launch of new/revised products including establishing goals, training team members, and evaluating results
• Create processes and procedures to help the company meet budgetary goals as well as performance quotas
• Establish an effective and efficient work sequence
• Devise new solutions to existing manufacturing problems
• Design, develop and test sources and cost-justify various tools, fixtures, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods
• Performs product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement, safety, improved efficiency, and training opportunities
