Our team is our competitive advantage and we are better together YOUR MISSION True Anomaly is looking for you, a creative and experienced engineer, to develop and design harness assemblies and harness routing on spacecraft and test setups. Designs will interconnect the electronics and power subsystem within the spacecraft. Interconnected systems include power, propulsion, guidance and navigation, data and telemetry. The harnessing design and implementation are a crucial part of the spacecraft system.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical or related engineering.
  • Experience with SolidWorks, CATIA, NX or similar 3D CAD software.
  • Demonstrates ability to work autonomously with little input on requirements or management oversight.
  • Demonstrates curiosity; engages respectfully with values.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willing to travel 20% of the time.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SolidWorks Electrical and Routing.
  • Experience working with various industry standards or mil specs.

Responsibilities

  • Create 3D harness routes and various electro-mechanical assemblies.
  • Generate simple wiring diagrams; understands grounding and shielding principles.
  • Interface and coordinate between various team members including engineering, program management, production and quality.
  • Analyze harnesses with applicable quality and reliability standards.
  • Perform IR/DWV testing.
  • Support production and quality assurance to clear obstacles and ensure build meets design intent.
  • Develop BOM’s and work within ERP system for production coordination.
