About The Position

The Engineer I, Equipment role involves installing new electrical/electronic equipment and technologies on a lithium-ion polymer battery production line. Responsibilities include improving equipment to increase overall efficiency and productivity, analyzing and reporting on Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), and supporting the completion of PLC program-based production work orders. The engineer will also create, monitor, and modify Ladder Logic-based PLC programs, monitor post-improvement equipment performance, and program/maintain manufacturing automation and controls systems. Adherence to safety requirements and maintaining the worksite according to 5S3R standards are also key aspects of this position.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or closely related field
• Coursework in Control Engineering
• Coursework in Smart Factory PLC
• Coursework in Lithium Ion Batteries
• Coursework in Electric Power Generation Engineering
• Coursework in Microcontroller Fundamentals
• Coursework in Electrical/Electronic Circuits
