About The Position

The Development Operations (DO) and Product Safety, Certification and Validation (PSCV) Organizations are seeking highly motivated early career engineers to join their Engineering Development Program. Responsibilities may include working on tasks related to commercial engines, military engines or both depending on business need. May be required to obtain a security clearance. While the role typically follows a first-shift schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, exact hours may vary depending on the rotation, with flexibility offered as long as business needs are met. The first rotation will focus on engaging, hands-on assignments related to the mechanical systems and infrastructure that support successful jet engine test execution for Commercial and Military products. Depending on the specific project, responsibilities may include mechanical design and analysis, project management across mechanical, civil, and electrical disciplines, development and validation of procedures, and on-site test monitoring and support. For the second and third rotations, the selected candidate will be presented with a range of opportunities tailored to availability and individual development goals. This EDP position is onsite and may require travel depending on each rotation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) field.
  • Minimum Cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Nice To Haves

  • Internship experience with Pratt & Whitney, RTX, or within the aerospace industry.
  • Experience with testing, manufacturing or assembly shop practices.
