About the position

This position will provide support for MAOP Records Verifications, MAOP Reconfirmation projects, and material verifications. Responsibilities include reviewing installation documentation, pressure tests, material specifications, and drawings, as well as developing MAOP Reconfirmation projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong core values in safety and ethical standards, possess a keen attention to detail, be willing to be hands-on with tools and equipment, communicate effectively, and collaborate as a team member. This position is eligible for a hybrid schedule and can be based in Austin or Tulsa.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates and performs an intermediate level of engineering activities.
  • Coordinate and perform engineering activities relative to the design, operation, and maintenance of company pipeline and storage systems and related facilities.
  • Coordinate projects among regions, departments (Marketing, Contract Administration, Accounting, Operations, and Customer Services), outside agencies, and contractors.
  • Provide technical and engineering assistance to management, employees, governmental/regulatory personnel, contractors, customers, and others.
  • Research, analyze, compile, and prepare information including engineering design, pipeline system capacity studies, and pipeline system risk studies.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor's degree in engineering.
  • Knowledge of piping plan standards and related governmental regulations.
  • Experience and training related to interpersonal/communication skills and customer services field policies and procedures.
  • Experience reading and interpreting governmental regulations, blueprints, contracts, manuals, specifications, surveys, charts, load studies, asset investment, risk reports, and other forms of data and written communication.
  • Read and write fluently in English.

Nice-to-haves

  • Preferred Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
  • Applicable driver's license.
