Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Advanced experience in pharma/biotech manufacturing systems.
Strong knowledge of GMPs and biopharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
Experience with drug substance manufacturing systems and equipment.
Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills, including root cause analysis.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills with ability to influence stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office and SAP; ability to read process diagrams (P&IDs).

Responsibilities

Support manufacturing activities as an SME, ensuring systems are fit for purpose and ready for use.
Investigate complex issues and manage system changes with no precedent solutions.
Lead small to medium improvement projects that enhance reliability and efficiency.
Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Maintenance, Automation, SHE, and Quality teams to meet production goals.
Apply technical knowledge and GMP expertise to solve problems and influence decisions.
Own or support critical systems such as bioreactors, filtration, chromatography, and buffer/media preparation.
Support equipment commissioning, qualification, and process transfers, including on-call support as assigned.
