District Operations is responsible for field related aspects of the distribution of natural gas to PGL customers. This includes Operations, Maintenance, and Construction activities.

As a Engineer, you will learn to:

Work with a variety of analytical software to provide solutions to improve efficiency of natural gas transmission and distribution systems
Monitor progress against compliance due date and year-end targets
Understand the operation of gas facilities to properly supply natural gas to customers
Develop knowledge of the installation process of new facilities and the retirement of existing ones as a part of new pipeline construction program
Ensure we are delivering a quality service to our customers
Work with various stakeholders and provide input on technical engineering aspects of projects 

This position is part of the Engineering job family (Associate Engineer, Engineer, and Senior Engineer). Experience will be the determining factor.

These positions are part of our engineering rotation program. This provides our Engineers opportunity to learn a variety of engineering functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• The Associate Engineer requires: 0-2 years relevant engineering experience (internship/co-op experience may be included as relevant engineering)
• The Engineer requires: 2-5 years relevant engineering experience (internship/co-op experience may be included as relevant engineering)
• The Sr Engineer requires: 5+ years relevant engineering experience (internship/co-op experience may be included as relevant engineering)
• Must meet company standards for driving and maintain a valid driver's license

• Project/process management experience
